Review - Avirate India Twitter Fraud

Lot of times we share our views and reviews with friends/family or on social media when we use a certain product or services. Today I am sharing my experience I had with Avirate India clothing brand. Infact the experience was such a forgettable one that they pissed off quite a few people even before using their clothing line.

Here is a whole story, in the month of July/August, they ran few twitter contests using their official twitter handle. I was one of the winners of a contest and won some gift vouchers. Inspite of announcing the winners publically the gift vouchers never came till date ( 22-Sept-2014 ). Interestingly there were few people on twitter who got the vouchers as they were also winners in different contests held by Avirate India. The brand but somehow decided not issue gift vouchers to few winners and kept promising them that vouchers will soon reach them. They even decided not to pay the hired twitter influencer Manish ( https://twitter.com/join2manish ) without giving any reasons. He was also the winner along with me ( https://twitter.com/navdeepsoni ). The attitude of Avirate India speaks volume of professionalism and trustworthiness of them as a brand specially when in today's era online shopping. Well they are definitely not recommended. Checkout the screenshots of public tweets we exchanged in July/August 2014. They kept saying till 5-Aug-14 that vouchers will be delivered. From there on they stopped responding to tweets and direct messages.

Avirate India Fraud Contest - 5-Aug-14, they are still saying that gift voucher will reach within this week.

UPDATE : From 24-Sept-14 onwards this blog post was shared on twitter and was appearing on google search results. Avirate dispatched the vouchers to Manish and Me on 25-Sept-14. However they refrained from any apology or any reason for such a long delay. Also Manish informed me on 1-OCT-14 that there is no update on his influencer fees.
